Things I Love Thursday {Canberra Photographer}

“Things I Love Thursday” is a new idea i borrowed from another photographer and thought it was a fabulous idea – i am basically going to capture a number of images of things i love each week. So come and visit each Thursday and leave me a comment and let me know what things you love.  Subscribe to my blog, so when i post something new you’ll be notified.

My gorgeous Lomo LC-A + Camera.  I can tell you how much i love this little guy…I will be posting images from him very soon.  The rules of owning a Lomo camera as advised by the Lomographic Society International are as follows -

(1) Take your camera everywhere you go.

(2) Use it anytime, day and night

(3) Lomography is not an interference in your life, but part of it…

(4) Try the shot from the hip

(5) Approach the objects of our Lomographic desire as closely as possible

(6) Don’t Think – Shoot

(7) Be Fast

(8) You don’t have to know beforehand what you captured on film (the love of film photography)

(9) Afterward either

(10) Don’t worry about any rules

My fun little Lomo Fish Eye – My husband bought him for me and i love him, and my husband.

lomoTILT6My Converse All-Stars – If i could wear these everywhere, with everything, i would.

converseTILT2Audrey Hepburn – need i say more.  Belgian born actress of Irish/Dutch parentage.  Small parts in English films lead to rapid stardom in Hollywood.  She was also well known for her charitable work for the UN Children’s fund. Major films include Roman Holiday, My Fair Lady and my favourite Breakfast at Tiffany’s.

AudreyTILT5“The Picture of Dorian Gray” by Oscar Wilde – This year i made a promise to myself that i would start reading the classics.  I must say i am enjoying this book very much.

DoriangreyTILT1Fresh Cut Flowers - I love the look, the feel and the smell fresh flowers bring to a room.
